We hope you and your loved ones are healthy during these difficult times. We want to inform you that if you and your relatives feel symptoms of the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus), there are detection and treatment programs for everyone at no cost and without health insurance. No matter your immigration status.

CCLS is here to help Your health consumer center is OPEN to help you by phone Monday to Friday between 8:30 a. m.- 5:00 pm

Our Legal Health Advisors can help you solve many of the problems that deny them access to the health services you need. We can help you with your access to Medi-Cal, Medicare, Covered California programs, and private insurance.

Healthcare Access Series: Your Right to Language Access Services

Your language access rights in the healthcare system. In English and en Espanol.

What are the symptoms of COVID 19?

  • Symptoms can range from mild to severe.
    • Nasal congestion
    • Sore throat
    • Sneezing
  • The following symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure:
    • Fever
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath

How do I protect myself and my family from catching the virus?
People can help protect themselves from respiratory illness with everyday preventive actions.

  • Social Distance – stay at least 6 ft away from others.
  • Stay home.
  •  Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
    that contains at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces (i.e., doorknobs, handles, remote controls).
