Legal Aid Disaster Resource Center
“ LADRC.org will serve as a national, multi-partner site to effectively meet the civil legal needs of disaster survivors. The site targets several audiences, including pro bono attorneys and other volunteers, legal aid attorneys, and disaster survivors. The website includes training materials, templates, and presentations on various disaster-related issues, sorted by legal topics and geographic area. As we launched the website, most of the available resources address federal disaster topics. Our goal is to add more state-specific materials.
The website also features a members-only help center that includes password-protected resources and a “Knowledge Bank” of experienced disaster legal aid attorneys. We hope that this feature will promote relationship-building and collaboration among the disaster legal aid and emergency management communities. To access these features, you can visit the LAD RC Help-Center and request an account.
We ask that you assist us in promoting this national resource by linking to LADRC.org on your organization’s website. We also hope that you will take the time to review the website and provide any feedback or additional resources that could help to improve the site. Please contact Collin Hayes (firstname.lastname@example.org) with any feedback.” By Lynn A. Jennings
