The Consumer Protection Practice Group protects the rights of low-income consumers by helping eligible clients fight back against unfair and deceptive business practices, predatory lending, and unlawful debt collections.
What We Do:
If eligible for services, clients may receive advice, brief services, and/or direct representation depending on the circumstances of their case. We provide free legal services in the following areas:
- Collections
- Contracts and Warranties
- Collection Practices and Creditor Harassment
- Fraud in connection with real estate, title, deeds
- Public Utilities and Phone Bills
