Veterans and active military may receive legal advice and brief services by voluteer attorneys on estate planning, such as wills, power of attorney documents, and expungement of criminal records for Fresno County charges only.

The Voluntary Legal Services Program (VLSP) is the primary vehicle for pro bono assistance delivered to low-income individuals and families in Central California.

Over the years CCLS has combated the range of legal issues that are part of the daily struggles encountered by low-income individuals – reducing school suspensions, closing down deceptive foreclosure companies who prey on vulnerable homeowners, defending the rights of low-wage workers, and reuniting families.
