Legal Research

Volunteers interested in legal research projects may assist any of CCLS’ program teams, depending on the current need and the volunteer’s expertise. The Affirmative Litigation team is most frequently in need of legal research, often in complicated civil procedure issues, consumer fraud, and housing. In addition, title and probate issues are common in our senior and housing teams. At the time that a volunteer expresses interest in legal research, teams may have different or additional needs.
